Linda Shull's People Pins are bright, engaging...and purposeful.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995, Shull turned her pain and anxiety into something positive and empowering: a collection of glass-and-metal creations that turn the head while lifting the spirits. And Shull's creations sparked even more creativity - wanting to add to their versatility, she first explored metalsmithing, and then started experimenting with kiln-formed glass.

The result of her playing with purpose are a wonderful amalgam of beads, fused glass, and metal, which Shull creates to honor everyone whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and she'll make the pretty princesses with one breast, two breasts or no breasts, to reflect the real beauty of cancer survivors. Part of the proceeds of each sale is donated to Breast Cancer Research
